We take children’s privacy seriously and design our app to comply with applicable laws, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

PianoSynth does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information from any user — including children. There are no accounts, no ads, and no cloud features. All your data stays on your device.

Local Data Storage

All data you create in PianoSynth — including recordings, saved songs, instrument settings, and preferences — is stored exclusively on your device. We do not sync, upload, or back up this data to any cloud service or our servers. If you uninstall the app, this data will be permanently deleted.

Third-Party Services

PianoSynth uses only one third-party service:

• Firebase Crashlytics — automatically sends anonymous crash reports if the app fails. These reports include technical details like stack traces, device model, OS version, and app version — but never include your name, email, IP address, location, or any content from your recordings or projects.

We do not use Google Analytics, AdMob, or any advertising or tracking SDKs. Because the app contains no ads and collects no user data, it is fully compliant with COPPA and safe for children of all ages.

No Personal Information Collected

PianoSynth does not require an account and never asks for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information. Since no such data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing for us to share, sell, or store.

Security

Because we do not collect or transmit any personal data, there is minimal privacy risk. The only external service (Crashlytics) follows Google’s security standards and transmits only anonymized diagnostic data.

Links to Other Sites

PianoSynth may contain links to external websites (e.g., our support page). Once you leave the app, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

Children’s Privacy

PianoSynth is designed for all ages, including children under 13. In full compliance with COPPA, we do not collect personal information from children, and the app contains no behavioral advertising, social features, or data collection beyond anonymous crash reporting.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally — for example, if we add or remove third-party services. The updated policy will be posted here with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of PianoSynth after changes implies acceptance.
